The main cities are Ponta Delagada, Angra do Heroísmo e Horta.  The historic centre of Angra do Heroísmo is classified since 1983 has World Heritage by UNESCO, with wonderful 17th- and 18th-century architecture that offers a real insight into its noble history, with beautiful chapels for your catholic wedding ceremony.
